The first workshop reading of a brand new gritty, British Musical. With a score that blends contemporary musical theatre with pop, jazz, and a sprinkling of classical, delve into a world of suspicion and survival within a remote 1905 community.

Pearl and Theodore are hated by the people in their town. When they are invited to join a secluded community run by two controversial visionaries, their lives are changed forever. In a place where the towns public perception comes first and what happens behind closed doors is truly private, you’d think this would be their sanctuary. However, as their lives start to become intertwined with the other people selected to join this elite neighbourhood, more sinister intentions behind the towns unique concept rear their head. A fight for survival ensues, pitting morality against instinct, raising the question; What would you do for a truly private life?
