Start Your Script

Aged 16 – 18? Interested in writing stories?

Over two days, you will explore the building blocks of storytelling, write your own monologue, and workshop it with an actor and director from our Masterclass community. Complete the sessions with a professional recording of your story to take home. We’ll also be sharing all the stories created on our socials!

If you love writing, this is an exciting opportunity to develop your skills. If you have something to say about the world, our team can help you shape those ideas into a speech for performance.

Start Your Script is a partnership between Masterclass and The Other Palace, supporting young people to develop their writing and apply their creativity to theatre.

To apply to be part of our Start Your Script workshops, simply fill out this quick form. We will let you know if your application has been successful by Friday 27 January.

You must be available for both the Monday 13 February from 1 – 5pm and Friday 17 February from 1 – 5pm, and be able to get to and from the theatres, The Other Palace and Theatre Royal Haymarket.
