Submissions are open for our annual new musical theatre festival MTFestUK 2024.
MTFestUK is a unique festival that provides a platform to showcase and celebrate new musical theatre. Next year we will be selecting eight new productions and giving their creative teams an opportunity to workshop and present their work in ‘sharing’ sessions.
Submit your new musical before the closing date, Wednesday, 15 November 2023
For those wanting to submit a piece of work, please email submissions@paultaylormills.com.
Applicants will need to include:
- a 150-words synopsis about the show
- a paragraph about the creative team and journey of the project to date
- 2 songs that show off what the musical has to offer.
Writing teams from all backgrounds and from across the UK and internationally are encouraged to apply. MTFestUK aims to support new innovative and exciting musical theatre, especially from underrepresented backgrounds, allowing audiences to come and support, explore, engage, and enjoy new musical theatre in its earliest stages of development.
