Step into the world of Cliffs, a brand new, genre-bending musical.
With a score that combines hip-hop and folk, Cliffs tells the story of Teddy Thomas, a girl who mysteriously vanishes on her way to school, plunging her family and the rest of the community into turmoil. As rumours begin to spread across The Bay, Teddy finds herself seeking justice between not one, but two worlds.
Written by Elan Butler (Masters of the Air, Funny Woman) and directed by Dean Johnson (Once at London Palladium, Lift at Southwark Playhouse), it promises to be a fresh take on British musical theatre that highlights the importance of community and togetherness.
First developed on Leicester Curves Playwriting course, Cliffs has since been supported by ATG Productions and the University of Winchester. Cliffs was shortlisted for the Stiles and Drewe Mentorship Award in 2023 and performed at Musical Mercury Developments / Musical Theatre Networks Beam Showcase.
