As We Are

Genuinely Confused Theatre Co are proud to present As We Are – a concert that celebrates not being afraid to be different.

With songs from across the theatre world that celebrate characters who don’t fit in, the evening will highlight lesser-told stories and represent those of us who often haven’t found where we belong yet. Hosted by Edward Turner, Leonora Brooks and Olivia Jenkins, there will be moments to speak with our theatre company about why this topic means so much to us and how it sparked the creation of our theatre company and journey to the Edinburgh Fringe!

Theatre is a space for any and all stories to be told, so in doing so, we are using this concert to allow performers who feel a connection to these characters and stories to have a place to feel seen, heard and welcomed.

Featuring guest performers with incredible talent, this concert will see that you laugh, cry and cheer throughout the course of the evening. This is a fundraising event, so all the proceeds from this evening will go towards our Edinburgh Fringe fund for this year.
