Even Stephens: A Night of Sondheim & Schwartz with Rob Houchen
From shows such as Into The Woods, Merrily We Roll Along, and Sunday in the Park with George to ones like Pippin, Wicked & The Hunchback of Notre Dame, we have been blessed with glorious music on stage & screen for over 70 years from two legendary Stephen’s – composers Stephen Sondheim & Stephen Schwartz.
Featuring two halves, one of each Stephen, with songs hand picked and sung by Rob and some special guests; this evening is a snapshot of Rob’s love for the work of these two icons. Accompanied only by piano in this wonderfully intimate space, he will by singing his favourite songs intersected by stories and anecdotes. A night simply to get together and enjoy beautifully written songs by two of the genius composers of our time.
