It’s Our Year: 2026 Grads Takeover

It’s Our Year is a celebratory cabaret platforming 2026 graduates and early-career performers at the moment they step into the professional industry. Curated by Sanderson & Rattray Productions, the evening brings together artists from across training pathways — BA, MA, Diploma, BMus, and beyond — alongside performers who forged their own routes into the industry. 

This is not a showcase in the traditional sense, but a statement: a collection of voices ready to be heard. Through a dynamic mix of musical theatre, pop, rock, and contemporary material, performers share work that reflects who they are right now, not just what fits a brief. Each performance is chosen to highlight individuality, musicality, and storytelling, celebrating the diversity of paths into the profession. 

It’s Our Year offers audiences and industry alike a chance to meet emerging talent in an honest, energised environment – one that champions ambition, resilience, and possibility. This is a room full of artists at the starting line, claiming ownership of their futures and declaring, together, that this is their moment.
